Sealed bids for the following contract will be received by The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey in the office of the Chief Procurement Officer, Attn: Bid Custodian, 4 World Trade Center, 150 Greenwich Street, 21st Floor, New York, NY 10007, until 2:30 PM on the date indicated where the bids will then be publicly opened and read in the Bid Room.
Contract documents may be seen at the Contract Desk on the 1st Floor, 2 Montgomery Street, Jersey City, NJ and may be obtained upon receipt of a non-refundable payment of $100.00 per set. If contract documents are not immediately available, prospective bidders are encouraged to pre-order the contract documents by sending the payment of $100.00 per set in advance. The contract documents will be shipped by overnight delivery at no additional cost as soon as they become available. Only company checks or money orders payable to the order of The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey will be accepted. Contract HT-224.134 - Holland Tunnel - Flood Protection for Ventilation Buildings. Estimate Range: $1M - $5M. Bids Due Wednesday, May 29, 2019. The work under this contract consists generally of removal and disposal of existing stop log wall system, removal and disposal of existing concrete walls and slabs furnishing and installation of removable stop log wall system assemblies including stop logs, support posts, braces, mullions, A-frames, baseplates, anchors, connection hardware, jambs, jamb anchorages, sill plates, concrete footing and slab, concrete screen walls, miscellaneous steel deck and platform modifications, storage racks and accessory components, flowable fill and removable vinyl sheet piles for cut-off walls, removal of existing and planting of shrubs, excavation and backfilling, lead paint removal, contaminated soil disposal and related work at the Holland Tunnel Ventilation Buildings and the vicinities thereof in New York and New Jersey. This project may be Federally funded in whole or in part. Accordingly, all bidders and the successful Contractor will be required to comply with any and all required applicable federal provisions and requirements contained in this solicitation and resulting contract.
